Springfield
College, situated at 234, George E. de Silva Mawatha, Anniewatte,
Kandy, was inaugurated with the mission of creating an educational
institute in which academic achievement, sporting and cultural activity,

ever display of rare vehicles
The Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre will be the
venue for what is probably the best and largest collection of rare
and special interest automobiles ever to be seen in one place in
Sri Lanka.
Organized by
the Motor & Trading Post magazine in joint collaboration with
the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre, this exhibition
will feature various motoring related Clubs and Groups and their
activities.
On show will
be over 120 cars and over 50 motorcycles. Some of the cars on display
may very well be seen for the first time by the visitor. The older
generation may remember some of these cars while it will be a new
experience for the younger enthusiast. Some rare motorcycles too
will be on display - again some of them for the first time.
There will
also be exhibits of special interest groups such as four-wheel drive
clubs where visitors would be able to talk to current members with
a view to themselves joining a club or, group.
The Motor Club
Show is a must for people of all age groups with either an interest
in motor vehicles or an interest in the motoring history of Sri
Lanka.
