Times Art Exhibition
The Art Exhibition was held on September
28, 2003 at the National Art Gallery. There were 625 paintings in
four age groups exhibited. Ten prizes were awarded in each category.
The pictures were judged by Mrs. Lathifa Ismail and Mrs. Nasreen
Amuruddeen.
Trophies and book prizes were presented by The Sunday Times. Specialist
Imports (Private) Ltd., Sole Agents for KORES/KOOL TOOLZ Art Materials
in Sri Lanka sponsored gift packs of art materials for the first
three prize winners in each age group.
