Ex -Army chief’s funeral today
General T.I. Weeratunga, Sri Lanka's ninth Army Commander and the first General Officer Commanding (JOC) of the Joint Operations Headquarters (JOH) died on Friday. He was 73 years.

The funeral takes place with full military honours at the General Cemetery at Borella at 4 p.m. today. See visite related story
