Book launch on Parliament debates
The book titled "Interesting debates in Parliament" written by Dinit Chintaka Karunaratne of the "Lankadeepa" editorial board will be launched at the J. R. Jayewardene Cultural Centre at 4.30 p.m on June 22 (Tuesday).

The book launch will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse and Leader of the Opposition Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Speaker W. J. M. Lokubandara and Finance Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama are due to deliver special lectures on the launching of this book on interesting debates in Parliament and incidents connected with the Parliamentary traditions of this country.

The composition is made up of 31 Parliamentary debates which were published in the "Sunday Lankadeepa". Ministers, members of the ruling party and the Opposition, media personnel, political analysts and a number of invitees are due to attend the ceremony. The book "Interesting debates in Parliament" is a presentation of the writers-readers association.
