A free trade agreement (FTA) to boost trade between Sri Lanka and
Pakistan will be signed on Tuesday during President Chandrika Kumaratunga's
two-day tour of that country, beginning today. Presidential spokesperson
Harim Peiris said arrangements were made at the last minute to facilitate
the tour after the SAARC summit scheduled to be held this weekend
in Dhaka was put off. |
