Two Sunil Santha CDs to mark 90th birth anniversary
The ninetieth birth anniversary of Sunil Santa, master of Sinhala melody, was commemorated on April 14 this year. To mark the occasion two CDs - ‘Guwan Thotilla’ and Kokila Nade’ were released.

‘Guwan Thotilla’ comprises twelve songs sung by Sunil Santha, Ivor Denis, Rohitha Wijesuriya, Lawrence Martin and Kala Santha. Some of his popular songs such as Negenahire, Bovitiya Dan, Guwan Thotilla, Mal Mal Varam, Ira Besa Yanne, Dakuna Negenahira, Mal Mal Eka Pawule Mal, Komala Detha, Kokilayo, Lena, Gatha Sitha Yodawala and a medley are included in this CD.

Kokila Nade’ is a instrumental CD comprising 12 of his popular songs. Piyakaru Nuwara Wewe, Ho Ga Rella Binde, Kokila Nade, Suvanda Rosa Mal Nela, Handapane, Emba Ganga, Olu Pipila, Mewan Pitisare,Walakulin Besa, Kaw Silumini Rajinde, Mihikatha Nalawala and Lanka Lanka are the songs in the Kokila Nade’ CD.
