Sylvester, Kumara Thirimedura, Dayadeva Edirisinghe, Wijeyratne
Warakagoda, Bandula Vithanage, Sarath Kotalawela, Ajith Lokuge,
Anton Jude and Gihan Fernando will discuss different social issues
with sarcasm and witticism. All ten stories are narrated around
'Three-wheel Malli' played by Daya himself. The
setting for all ten stories are the three-wheel park situated under
a Mango tree. One of the two three-wheelers belongs to Three-Wheel
Malli who has learnt many lessons in the university of life and
the other belongs to "King Koka" (Dharmapriya Dias) a
young man yet to learn about life. There
is a boutique belonging to Malmadara played by Samanthi Lanarolle.
She is a woman who cares about her beauty and in her appearance
and wants to outdo even her own daughter. "Chacha" is
Malmadara's daughter a Bollywood maniac who spends most of her time
imitating the Hindi role models in the fantasy world of Hindi songs
              and dances. Premakanthi
(Jayani Senanayake) accidentally runs into Three-Wheel Malli's world
and she becomes his wife. The ten stories revolve around ten hilarious
situations which Three-Wheel Malli comes across in his daily life. A
mobile phone promoter visits the three-wheel park and tells how
their business could be developed with the use of mobile phones.
Encouraged by this prospect both Three-wheel Malli and King Koka
buy phones. Was this another gimmick by the consumeristic world?
                "Bombaya"
(The Bomb) depicts a story where a bomb scare grips the whole area.
One day Three-Wheel Malli (TWM) finds a parcel in a brief case left
behind in the vehicle. Some warn him that it might be a bomb while
the others guess it to be a bag filled with money. Concluding it
to be a bomb TWM finally seeks the help of a retired officer from
the bomb disposal squad and … Mangala
Seenu (Wedding Bells) tells the story of a man who claiming to be
a loner approaches three-wheel Malli and wants to hire him and others
as relatives to visit a bride for him. Everybody
agrees to support him and set out for the bride's home the following
day itself. It was love at first sight for the young couple and
there seemed to be no use in postponing the marriage and it is fixed
for the day after the first visit. As the auspicious time arrives
a strange thing happens. Everybody notices that bridegroom has gone
missing and later they come to know that the sister of the bride
to be too had disappeared. "Isiwarayek"
is yet another interesting story that comes in this series. A man
who calls himself Isiwara comes to the village and he is warmly
welcomed by the women while the men look on in suspicion. What gifts
did he bring to the village? Hoping
to enhance his personal security, due to the prevailing situation
in the country King Koka decides to learn Karate for self-defence.
He persuades TWM too join him and all his attempts fail. One-day
two thieves come to rob King Koka's three-wheeler and he is rescued
by none other than three-wheel Malli. These
and four other hilariously interesting tales are included in the
teledrama series directed by Chandana Hewapathirana and produced
by Grace Ariyawimal and Daya himself. Camera is handled by Manoj
Ranasinghe, art director is Patrick David and edited by Jagath Weeratunge.
