‘Eka Malaka Pethi’ from March

Film Director Mohan Niyas's latest cinematic creation ‘Eka Malaka Pethi’ will be screened on C.E.L. Circuit from March 3. Eka Malaka Pethi’ produced by Jagath Wijenayaka for 'Silumina' Films has a theme that speaks of a young couple who comes to Colombo in search of a job in entertainment field and the conflicts they had to face because of the intimacy approaches of the Manager of the Musical Troupe which performed in a Five Star Hotel.

Nirasha, the finance of the musician Maheta had to give up her dream of marrying him since the Manager's intervention. The manager marries Nirasha as she consents, since she had no other alternative. As a result Mahela conspires to kill Nirasha.

'Eka Malaka Pethi' is a film with surprises moment by moment along with mellifluous songs and modern dances. Naleen Perera (main vocalist - Musical Group Marian's), Reema Ginger, Roshan Pilapitiya, Anarkali Akarsha, Buddhika Jayarathne, Rex Kodippili, Maureen Charuni, Palitha Galappaththi, Manel Wanaguru, Gamini Jayalath, Lakmal Fonseka, Asoka D. Soysa and Gananga Gunawardena play their roles.

Music is provided by Sarath Wickrema. Screen play by Mohan Niyas himself. Camera - Andrew Jayamanna. Makeup Artist Gayani Satharasinghe, Art Director Piyal Jayasanka. Choreography by Shan Perera and Nanda Kumara. Hair styles Sarath Ranaweera.
