‘Super heroes’ on Derana
Movie fans in Sri Lanka will experience the biggest film telecast on television this month as Derana brings the top movies of the local, Hindi, Tamil and English cinema.

A movie every day will be telecast throughout the month of March and in April. All the movies will be telecast on prime time at 8.45 pm. The month of March will be dedicated to super heroes, and this includes Gamini Fonseka, Joe Abeywickrama, Amithab Batchan, Rajesh Khanna, Kamal Hassan and Rajini Kanth.

Monday will be devoted to films featuring Joe Abeywickrama and every Tuesday will feature Gamini Fonseka movies. Wednesdays in March will be dedicated to film of the most popular actors of all time in the south Indian film industry Kamal Hassan and Rajini Kanth.

Bollywood film world's yester-year hearthrob Rajesh Khanna's films will be telecast on Thursdays. Bollywood super star Amithab Batchan's films will be telecast on Fridays and the reiging No. 1 superstar in India Sharukh Khan's movies will be telecast on Saturday.

The movies in March includes Surungale, Parasathu Mal, Sweep Ticket, Siribo Ayyia, Namak Haram, Andaz, Kati Patang, Amar Prem, Johnny, Heyram, Padayappa, Thilu Mullu, Apurva Sahodargal, Hum, Abhiman, Lavaris, Naseeb, Sholay, Pardesh, Anjam, Thrimurthi, Devadas, Chalte Chalte and many more.

In April films of beautiful actresses will be shown like Malani Fonseka, Geetha Kumarasinghe, Sangeetha Weeraratne, Kanchana Mendis, while the others would be Aishwarya Rai, Sneha, Sri Devi, Maduri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Preity Zinta, Karishma Kapoor.
