Down Memory Lane Anniversary Sing along

Down Memory Lane 10th anniversary Sing along Programme will come alive on November 19, 2006 at 7.00 p.m. at Hotel Ranmal, Moratuwa.

The organizers of this annual sing along concert The Moratuwa Arts Forum (MAF), have made elaborate, plans to hold this anniversary programme in grand style. As it always had been customary, this programme will include a variety of vintage favourites. The organizers inform that there would be added glamour and variety this year with audience participation requesting all old favourite lovers who could sing to contact them in advance so that they could join the MAF singers on stage for the sing- along sessions. There will be an assortment of special vocal spots and dancing sequences with Sunil and Piyal Perera of the famous Gypsies in attendance. There will be other acts including Hawaiian Dancing as well and participants will be entitled to a free song book which includes the complete lyrics of 100 heartwarming songs. 'The orchestra will depict the typical old world charm with instrument such as piano, Hawaiian pedal guitar, violin, banjo and piano-accordion sounds being prominent.

The Moratuwa Arts Forum Singers led by the vintage orchestra will be in attendance to give thrust and urge you to sing along to your heart's content.

The joint project chairmen for this year's programme are Lincoln De Silva (Leader of Super Pink and Purple) and songster Hemaka Fernando.
