Signal sponsors Commonwealth Dental Conference in Sri Lanka

Signal, the country’s top toothpaste, is involved in a Rs 5 million sponsorship of the Commonwealth Dental Conference currently being held in Colombo from 1-3 December.

Considered the single largest gathering of dental professional from the country as well as the Commonwealth region, this prestigious event has brought together experts in the field of oral care with discussions and presentations of research and academic findings of the latest and state of the art developments in the field. It is hosted by the Sri Lanka Dental Association, a Unilever press release said.

Dr Hillary Cooray, Chairman of the Commonwealth Dental Conference Organizing Committee at a press conference lauded Signal for its generous sponsorship of a conference which seeks to give an opportunity for dental surgeons in Sri Lanka to indulge and further educate themselves with their international counterparts.

Unilever Sri Lanka has also sponsored the research and presentation by Dr Andrew Joiner, a Research and Development expert in the field of tooth whitening from the United Kingdom.
