Special O/Ls in Batti

Special Ordinary Level examination centres would be arranged for students in Vakarai and Kadiraveli areas in Batticaloa district, Education Department Commissioner General Anura Edirisinghe said. He said principals of schools in Vakarai and Kadiraveli areas would be contacted soon.

“We have to check whether they are ready for the exam,” he said. Mr. Edirisinghe said the O/L examination will be conducted in Trincomalee district and the rest of the country, beginning December 11.

“We have received information about displaced candidates in Sampur and Mutur areas, but apart from that we heard nothing serious enough to warrant the cancellation of the examination in those areas,” he said.
