Ratagedara searches teen brigade for debut film  
Dayaratne RatagedaraAward winning tele director, makeup artiste, teledrama director and film journalist, Dayaratne Ratagedara is busy hunting a group of fresh teen faces for his maiden directorial venture in cinema. Over the last few weeks the experienced director was searching through the medium of newspaper advertisement for nearly fifteen teens aged between 15 and 18 years but has failed to make a single selection.
 
‘Ru Sara’ completes one year on Rupavahini
’Ru Sara’ , a musical extravaganza featuring popular Sinhala, Hindi and Tamil film songs , is being telecast on Rupavahini every Saturday at 7.30 am. ’Ru Sara’ is compered and presented by Nilar A. Cassim reaches the anniversary milestone.Produced by Arosha Samaradiwakara, this novel presentation of this programmes has attracted audiences to flock round.
