Sylvestrians runs short of time

The Sylvestrians dominated the 49th big match against Vidyartha at the Asgiriya Stadium but ran short of time to clinch an outright win.

After bowling out Vidyartha for 158 on day one, the Sylvestrians batted consistently well down the line to take a lead of 59 on the first innings. Mohamed Feshal top scored with 54, while Basnayake emerged the best bowler for Vidyartha. Ravi Karunaratne made a carefree unbeaten 33.
