SSC Masters Sports Festival ‘07

For the first time in Sri Lanka a Master event featuring 18 of the most popular sports in Sri Lanka will be worked off from 15th June to 23rd June. This large and much needed event is organized by the Sinhalese Sports Club.

The main venue will be SSC where Cricket, Archery, Badminton, Squash, Netball, Snooker, Swimming, Tug of War, Water Polo and dance sport will be conducted, while Athletics will be at the University grounds. Rugby and basket ball at Royal Sports Complex, Football at Campbell Park, Table Tennis at the Race Course and Carrom at the Carrom Federation.

The event will commence on 15th June with the grand closing ceremony on the 23rd June.

The Dance sport will be the finale to the weeks’ events and around 200 are expected to participate from around the country.
