Vidyartha scored a smashing 34 points (4 goals, 2 penalties) to 7 (a goal) win over their traditional rivals St. Sylvester’s at Nittawela yesterday. At half time, the winners led 10-0.

Scorers for Vidyartha – Chandrika Chandimal centre (2), flanker Nirindu Migara (1), fly half Taraka Dissanayake (1).

Chandimal converted the tries and put over the penalties.
