Ayesha and Lalindran the best

Ayesha Amanulla (HFC) and Lalindran Sri Skandarajah were adjudged the best players at a friendly scrabble tournament held recently between Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya and Royal Institute, Havelock Town at the HFC premises.

This popular mind sport has been introduced to the two schools since 2003 and much interest is shown by the students as an extra curricular activity.

All participants were awarded gifts and Certificates of participation by the Principal of Holy Family Convent and Teacher in Charge of Royal Institute.

The students of these two schools are coached by Lakshman Cooray of the Sri Lanka Scrabble League.
