‘Rizwan Fa’: New kid on the block

Rizwan Fa has become a popular actor for his role in 'Weda Beri Tarzan', which is now being screened. Fa made his film debut in 'Samantha' directed by Mario Jayathunga and proved that he has a long, way to go in this glamour field. Fa is making steady strides now, with his lead role in 'Ekama Dhawase' opposite Aksha Sudari, who was our cover girl few weeks ago.

'Ekama Dhawase' is a Sinhala and Tamil mix movie, now being shot in Sri Lanka and as well as in India. Fa plays a prominent role in Sunil Soma Peiris/Sunil T.Fernando movie ‘Weda Beri Tarzan’ which is now being screened successfully.

Besides acting, Rizwan Fa has been showing that he is also a good singer, dancer and also a sportsman. Fa had been a good athlete while in school, a first eleven cricketer and also a soccerite the background which has really helped him in this field.

He also acted in a couple of teledramas. 'Pas Mal Pethi and Nilanjana are two of his small screen contributions.‘During my schooldays, my biggest dream was to become a pilot. But destiny had other things in store for me and today I am here with starry dreams. I must thank my guru Mario Jayathunga for moulding and guiding me and without him I am sure I would be nowhere. I am grateful for the opening he gave me in Samantha," he said.

Other than acting his love for dancing and weight lifting, helped him to achieve goals in life.‘I can't forget the training I got from Mr.Chandratillake of ‘DANCE LANKA’. Also popular actress Anoja Weerasinghe helped me at her Abhina Academy of Fine Arts.
