Unexpected musical line-up VERTISTMENTS

Camelot, My Fair Lady, Cabaret, Oklahoma!, Cinderella, Flower Drum Song, South Pacific, State Fair, Annie Get Your Gun, Call Me Madam, Kiss Me Kate, Carnival, Mary Poppins. First you may wonder what do all these have in common… Well, for one, they are all musicals and as you know, they are all well-known Broadway productions. And what do Broadway Musicals have to do with Colombo? Well, this August the All Saints Youth Fellowship will present some selections from these Broadway Musicals called A Grand Night For Singing – selections from Broadway Musicals, and according to Gehan Cooray and Natasha Seneviratne both directors of this production, it will not be what "people usually expect!"

 
Picking up the pieces

In my lifetime (and I haven't lived very long) I have witnessed Sri Lanka crumble to pieces, pick itself up, and crumble to pieces again, in a deadly cycle. If it isn't the war, it's the economy tumbling down on our heads. If it isn't the economy, it is corruption. If it's not corruption it's a natural disaster or a strange phenomenon such as Chikungunya. What will it take to break the cycle? As the youth of this nation it is our duty – our responsibility – to strive to keep Sri Lanka afloat. How can we do this? Here are a few practical steps we can take:

Dear TPH,
Recently I bought a DVD containing a pirated version of Windows Vista Ultimate, but I have not installed it yet because one of my friends told me that Microsoft can detect pirated software when I connect to the Internet. Is it true, and if so what happens when they find out that I am using pirated software?
