Kalutara District U-15 schools Six-a-Side today

Fingara International Cricket Academy (FICA) has launched a programme promoting and developing cricket among schools district level involving teams from Galle, Ambalangoda, Negombo, Dambulla and Kalutara to harness talent at grassroots level at the Kalutara Esplanade starting at 9.00 am.

The package is afforded to the Association of Cricket Umpires of the Kalutara headed by Piyal Nishanta. They are organizing the tournament. 21 teams from 19 schools in the district will vie for honours.

The winners will receive the FICA Challenge trophy, the player of the tournament and the final. Best batsman, bowler and fielder will also receive awards.
