Bosch security, surveillance systems at UNESCO
sites in Sri Lanka
Bosch security and surveillance systems are to be installed at UNESCO world heritage sites in Sigiriya, Dambulla, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa and major business establishments in Sri Lanka.
Bosch CCTV surveillance systems, Voice Alarm systems with integrated public address (PA) systems, and conference systems will be installed under a programme to provide high tech equipment to strengthen security in cultural heritage sites and mega business enterprises in the island.
Hayleys Ltd has stepped in to introduce Bosch systems in Sri Lanka considering the importance of protecting cultural and economic nerve centres, the media was informed recently at the launch of the Bosch DCN Digital Wireless conference system in Colombo.
Hayleys has sent its team for product training at the Bosch Asia Pacific Headquarter in Singapore.
Chan Chow Wah, Manager of Export Division, Bosch Security Systems who is also an anthropologist with a master’s degree from London School of Economics and heads the Export Division, made the key note address at the launching ceremony.
He spoke on the larger social context in which security systems are embedded.
He also explained the ways in which Bosch works with customers to deliver a system that meets customer requirements. |
