Cornucopia Lanka Ltd, representing the Bangalore based HR company, says it’s providing cost effective Executive Search services locally.

Cornucopia’s Sri Lanka’s representative Dinesh Weerakkody says the company is geared locally to offer a full-scale placement or executive search service.

According to the company the average time to fill a vacancy has risen from around 30 days to 90 days and the quality of candidates applying has declined by around 20%. So recruitment is one area where companies need good professional help, he said.

Cornucopia has a different approach where all local or foreign candidates will not be sent to a client till they have assessed the candidate’s suitability for the role, and candidates would be adequately screened.

These are among other strategies that the company uses.
