Amana Takaful in strategic tie up with Interact

Amana Takaful Insurance has teamed up with the Interact District 3220 as the movement’s official community service strategic partner for 2007/2008, Amana’s Assistant Marketing Manager Aashiq Aminuddin told reporters this week.

He added that the main reason in a tie up with Interact is two fold. One is that the company wants to foster and nurture the youth to become inspirational and efficient leaders and second is to carry out worthwhile projects for the benefit of the society.

This partnership will implement many community service projects with social responsibility within a span of one year. Four main projects are to be implemented under this initiative. Director of the Interact District 3220 Zahrah Cader disclosed that they will allocate funds for projects to assist children of the Sri Lanka Army and to ensure the protection of environment under the Interact’s “Green life” programme.
