Mexican fest at Hilton

Known for its intense flavours and colourful garnishes, Mexican cuisine is recognised the world over as one of the most sensual and eclectic food experiences anyone can ever hope to experience. The Mexican Food Festival will come alive at the Spices Restaurant from Sunday, October 21, to Sunday, October 28, featuring two culinary artistes flown in especially, all the way from Mexico.

All made from authentic Mexican spices and peppers, traditional Mexican delicacies will be on show at the festival. Be prepared to encounter the vividness of Mexican culture through such favourites as Nachos, Enchiladas and Burritos and a number of other specialties. 'Mexican food tends to be very colourful and eye catching because of the rich variety of vegetables such as chilli peppers, green peppers and radishes' Hilton Colombo's Executive Chef, Rohan Fernandopulle explains.
