DFCC Vardhana Bank launches Ranawarama pawning service

DFCC Vardhana Bank (DVB), recently launched its Ranawarama gold jewellery pawning facility – which ensures customers with a safer, easier and secure method of pawning valuable personal items.

Initially launched at the bank’s Bandarawela, Negombo, Piliyandala, Ratnapura and Kiribathgoda branches, the service will also be taken to the DVB branches in Anuradhapura and Borella.

Speaking on the new service, DFCC Vardhana Bank's Managing Director, L.G. Perera, said the bank felt it was imperative to provide customers with a secure way of pawning their valuable jewellery.

“There are many places in the country that offer pawning facilities, however we provided a heightened element of trust and safety for our customers. The Ranawarama product is our way of demonstrating to our consumer that DVB understands how precious these items are, and thus ensures the safety of their possessions,” he said.
