‘Upadinne Idadenna’ carries a Christmas message

'Upadinna Idadenna' a mini-film carrying the message of Christmas will be telecast at 9.30 pm on December 25 on Rupavahini. To a script by Richard Manamudali, the one episode teledrama is directed by Vijitha Manjula Sinhgapruthuvi and is assisted by Chamila Thushan Indika.

It is the time of Christmas. The priest returns to his room after training the carol drama and finds that a woman is sleeping on his bed. She is with a child. On the following morning a group of devotees come to meet him and finding the woman and the child they get a wrong impression about him. But the story ends clearing him from all the allegations against him.

The teledrama is starred by Athula Pathirana, Anjula Rajapakse, Edward Gunawardena, Daya Alwis, Ratna Sumanapala and Richard Manamudali. Edited by Janaka Kekirideniya, camera by Amal Liyanage, lighting by Mangala Samarawickrema, art director Heenatigala Premadasa, recording by Siripala Bambarenda and Padmasiri Gunatilake and make-up artiste is Premalal Gunatilake.
