Three vie for BASL top post

Three candidates offered themselves for the Presidency of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL)when nominations closed this week. Two former Secretaries of the BASL, Mr. Upul Jayasuriya and Mr. W. Dayaratne and Mr. R.R.S. Thangaraja are to vie for the Presidency.

Mr. U.R. de Silva and Mr. R.A.P. Ranawaka will contest the post of Secretary. Elections are due on February 29.
