Trans Asia wins silver for best HR practices

Trans Asia Hotel won a silver award for human resource management at the HRM Awards 2007 Super 10 ceremony held at Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo recently. "Celebrating the people factor in business growth" was the theme of this year's competition, organised by the Association of Human Resources Professionals in collaboration with Hewitt Associates (India).

At a glittering Awards night, ten gold and nine silver awards recipients were felicitated amongst a large gathering of contenders. Wasanthi Stephens, Human Resources director of Trans Asia Hotel, is seen receiving her trophy from Professor Gunapala Nanayakkara.
