'Racines' at Alliance Francaise

The French film 'Racines' (Roots) by Richard Copans will be screened at Alliance Francaise, Barnes Place, Colombo-7 at 3 pm on Tuesday March 11 and at 6.30 pm on Wednesday March 12.

Richard Copans, during a long procedure, conceptualized a documentary, 'Racines' (Roots), about his own roots (both teeth and family). He meets a labourer , a Jewish poet, a violinist, a genealogist, a descendant from the slaves, many cousins and three jazz musicians who's music marks his life forever.
