AGM and get together for Matara Old Thomians in Colombo

The Annual General Meeting get-together and Dinner of S. Thomas' College Matara Old Boys' Association, Colombo Branch will be held on Saturday, March l5 at "Opulent Banquet Hall" No. 166, Koswatta Rd. Nawala, Rajagiriya from 6.00 p.m. onwards. A variety entertainment followed by a raffle on the entrance tickets will be held. The president and the committee members of the Association invite all old Thomians living in and around Colombo to participate in this much awaited annual event.

Versatile artiste and the pioneer in poster printing, Managing Director of IPB Press Maradana, Somapala Hewakapuge a distinguished old Thomian will be the Chief Guest this year."Few selected old boys who retired from government service will be honoured and felicitated in appreciation of their long and dedicated service to the Association and the Alma- Mater," the Organising Committee said.

"As a special programme, annual scholarship presentation under "Alfred Edirisinghe Trust Fund" is also to take place on this occasion", secretary, Kamal de Silva told the TV Times.
