Another Pillaiyan member killed

A TMVP (Pillaiyan group) cadre was shot dead by an unidentified group while he was engaged in election campaign work at Mailanbavali in Batticaloa last evening, Police said.

The victim was identified as 19-year-old Nidharshanan, the second TMVP activist to be killed within eight days in the Batticaloa district ahead of the provincial polls.
