ICRC crossing point figures

The ICRC has ensured the safe passage through the Omanthai crossing point of more than 3,500 vehicles and 37,000 civilians, including 150 ambulances and more than 625 patients crossing in both directions, during the past month, the organization said in its monthly report.

It also conveyed the bodies of 56 members of the security forces and the LTTE who were killed in fighting last month, the report said.
