Dead body found in Kattankudy

A decayed corpse was found near the Kalladi Bridge in Kattankudy, Batticoloa at at 7.30am today morning, said police media spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekare.

He said that the body has not been identified and taken to the Batticaloa hospital to hold the post mortem.

Further investigations are conducted by Kattankudy police, he said. .
