World crude on slippery slope

World crude prices are on a slippery slope, slumping to $85.15 on Monday against $89.46 on Friday as the US financial crisis continued, according to Central Bank figures. The OPEC basket fell to $86.37 from $89.28 on Friday.

In the Singapore Refined Products market on Monday, petrol fell to $95.50, kerosene to $103.60 while diesel gained to $117.80. .
