On Saturday, the 30 October 1997, there came over the airwaves of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation a unique one-hour progra ‘CF Connection’.

The brainchild of Sunil Simon, it featured a different blend of music, lively conversation, short messages on finance and services of the sponsor and a group of 5-6 individuals who contributed to the program in his or her own way.

CF Connection is hosted by Sunil Simon, V.Rajendra, Niran Abeysundara and Dayasaman Wijesingha. Long forgotten but remembered by CF is V.Rajendra who's one of the Oldest broadcasters here in Srilanka a CF Connection is sponsored by Central Finance.

Currently CF Connection is aired from 1030-1200 noon on every Saturday over The S.L.B.C's English Service with a blend of tunes selected to a wider audience.
