Sameera Gunasekera of YMBA Borella clinched the 8 Ball Pool Championship title with an easy ten frames to six win over Anuruddha Higgoda of Otters AC in the 19 frame final played at the Billiards and Snooker Association headquarters billiards table in Reid Avenue yesterday.

Gunasekera along with Higgoga, Kalhara Abeysinghe (EPP), Bhagya Dias (Apex), Mohamed Fahim (EPP), M. Ashar (BPPP), Anver Azeez and P.A.M. Badurdeen both of MSC have qualified to play in the national championship with the 24 seeded players.-MSA
