An evening discussion on "The Stock Market in Sri Lanka

CIMA Sri Lanka Division in association with the Colombo Stock Exchange announces an evening discussion on "The Stock Market in Sri Lanka: an investment opportunity outlook for 2009 and beyond" on 27 February 2009.

The discussion will be about investment climate; recent past changes (war front, forex, interest rates, inflation, corporate earnings); scenario analysis of future happenings (war ending, investment flow re direction, foreign interest, investor/institutional interest picking up); investment objective setting (long term or otherwise, holding strategy, profit taking, alternative investments); investment opportunities (Sectors); importance of due diligence, analysis, diversification and rationality in investment decision making.

The speaker Hisham Jiffry is a Research Analyst with First Guardian Equities (Pvt) Ltd
The evening discussion will be held in the CIMA Auditorium and will commence at 6.30pm. Entrance for the program is free of charge and by prior registration.
