Skippers tell teams to focus ahead of IPL circus

AUSTRALIA'S captain Ricky Ponting has warned his players of the danger a "clouded mind" can cause if they become distracted by the build-up for the Indian Premier League.

The IPL caravan for the five-week event is about to hit town, led by Shane Warne's defending champions Rajasthan Royals.

Warne's Royals are setting up camp in Cape Town and will play a warm-up match against domestic Twenty20 champions the Cape Cobras on April 11 at Newlands, two days after Australia's third one-day international against South Africa at the same ground.Ponting's side was due to play South Africa in the opening ODI match overnight (Melbourne time) in Durban, followed by tomorrow's second match at Centurion.
