Lasantha Fernando was elected the President of the Wesley College Old Boys Union with R. Chandima J. de Silva as his secretary at the Annual General Meeting which was held at the college hall recently.
The rest of the officials and the executive committee which comprised of prominent past top sportsmen of the school were also elected for the ensuing year 2009/2010.
The newly appointed principal Dr. Shanthi Mclleland who is also a distinguished old boy of Wesley and a top sportsman who took over from M.A.P. Fernando in May this year is the Patron.
