The Society of Transport and Logistics (STL) at the University of Moratuwa is implementing a special programme to increase awareness of transport and logistics sector among the general public. Another objective of this programme is to educate the youth on educational and professional development opportunities available in this field.
Under this programme an All Island Interschool Quiz Competition was organised by the (STL) for the first time. This is also aimed at promoting the Transport and Logistics Management Degree programme which is the only BSc (Hons) Degree in Transport and Logistics Management from a state university in Sri Lanka.
The final round of the competition was held with the participation of 17 schools. St. Anne’s College, Kurunegala won the All island Inter - school Quiz Competition while Panadura Balika Vidyalaya was the runner’s up. |
