‘Aquarius’ adds Wathsala and Merlina plus new dates

Due to the popularity of the band and the great music that they play, Benji and his mates ‘Aquarius’ has added an extra night to their days of performances.

‘Aquarus’ performs to usually packed crowds that come through to the Margarita Blue at Galadari to catch the action and enjoy the great promotions.

With the additional date Aquarius will now perform every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the same venue apart from monthly mid week special’ Pink Night’.

The band will start off the new dates with their newest attraction, Sri Lankan artistes – ‘Wathsala and Merlina’.

The Stunning Sri Lankan duet Wathsala and Merlina have been performing overseas and are back in the city for a short stint. They will be performing with ‘Aquarius’ at the most happening pub in Colombo the Margarita Blue.

Aquarius now comprises of bassist and leader Benji Ranabahu Shiran Munasinghe (drums and vocals), Dhanushka Jayasekera (lead guitar and vocals), Ray de Silva (keyboards), Mano (Saxophone).

Margarita Blue’s beautiful setting gives it a modern and cozy atmosphere and the outside Terrace over looking the ocean a romantic place to be. Revellers could also try out some of the new items the menu offers a variety of appetizers, main dishes and desserts for Lunch and Dinner.

‘The Pub offers games such as darts, Snooker and pool while you enjoy the best and latest in sports on giant screen’ said Nirikshi Rupasinghe, the Public Relations manager of the Hotel.

The Margarita Blue is open from 11.00am to midnight on weekdays and from 11.00am to 2.00am every Friday and Saturday.
