TT seminar in Kandy

The Kandy District Table Tennis Association has organized a Table Tennis seminar, which will be conducted by leading coaches from the International T.T. Federation, to be held on 5th and 6th December at the Peradeniya University Gymnasium.

According to the president Manzil Muthalib, the idea behind the seminar is to provide knowledge of the new technology to all coaches and T.T. enthusiasts of the hill capital. It is hoped that the seminar will lead to a dissemination of knowledge to a wider section of T.T. hopefuls and thereby lead to greater participation.

As the number of places is limited to 25, those interested in participating in the seminar are requested to send in their Bio Data to the President (32, Saranakara Road, Kandy) before 15th November.
Past T.T. players, physical education teachers in schools, coaches and disabled soldiers are welcome to attend.

Of late T.T. has lost its position of pre-eminence in Kandy and hopefully this seminar will be the initial step on the road to recovery. Another interesting fact is that, beginning November, the National poolists will be put up in Kandy and will be practicing here.
