Veediya Bandara's eyes turned red with rage. Samudradevi was
trembling in the face of death. A moment passed. All of a sudden, Veediya Bandara jumped on Samudradevi and held her by her neck. She howled in fear. But the hard heart of the prince was not moved at all. For a couple of minutes, Devi struggled and tried to escape death.
A grand exhibition was held to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Sri Jayawardenapura University. It was first established in 1959. The exhibition was open to the public from February 19 – 23.
