Blake coming here for talks

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Robert O’ Blake will arrive here on Tuesday for a two-day official visit, during which he will meet leaders from both the Government and the opposition.

Mr. Blake who was earlier the U.S. Ambassador in Colombo is visiting the country for the first time in his new official capacity. He is now the Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs.

U.S. Embassy spokesman Jeff Anderson said the visit was an official engagement.
