Randhir Bandara emerges under 11 karate champ

Randhir Ranasinghe Bandara, a 10 year old student of Lyceum International School, Nugegoda emerged the under 11 individual Kata event champion winning a gold medal and certificate at the 19th anniversary and Itosukai National Karate Championship held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium on November 29, 2009.

 

Thirteen year old Tarindu Bopage of Sri Sangabodhi Maha Vidyalaya, Modara who clinched the award for the ‘Most Promising Young Sailor’ at the Janashakthi Sailing Nationals 2009 receives his award from Janashakthi's Head of Marketing Paddy Weerasekera.
