New Chief Executive Director appointed at Sadaharitha Group

VeteranMarketer/Management consultant Mr.H.K Rohana has been appointed as the New Chief Executive Director at M/s Sadaharitha plantations Ltd. A proud product of Royal College, Mr.Rohana , counts more than 24 years of Management Experience with both Local and multinational companies Overseas.

He started his career with "The Finance company" and has held Senior management positions at Usha industries Ltd, Singer(Sri Lanka) Ltd, and Hunter and Co Ltd; prior to taking up his career opportunities overseas. He has more than 08 years of international exposure ; few years of it was ,offering corporate consultancy in Sales and Marketing to KLM-Royal Dutch Airlines in various parts of the world. On various international company missions he has been based and successful in bagging experience in countries ; such as USA,France,Netherlands,Germany,Singapore, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,Bahrain, UAE, Thailand, India and Republic Of Maldives.

In the recent past he has held positions at M/s Janshakthi Insurance plc ;as the Country Manager-to Republic Of Maldives, and had offered Management consultancy to M/s Bartleet transcapital Ltd of Bartleet group and M/s Ceylinco Investment and Reality Ltd under the managing Agent ,Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka. "Sadaharitha " pioneers as a plantation company engaged in establishment of forest plantations, providing investment opportunities in various plantation projects like Teak, Mahogany and Sandalwood, etc.

Company is gearing up "to be the best Sri Lankan company contributing to a balanced economy by producing timber on sustainable basis to relieve the pressure on valuable rainforests and by doing so to reduce the un-employment rate of the country."

Using his knowledge and experience in Marketing,Customer care,finance and Management & also joining hands with the Chairman / Managing Director Mr.Sathis Nawarathne, a well known figure in the plantation industry ; the new CED assures transformation of Sadaharitha to a new level of operations.
