The University of Greenwich is home to a thriving community of approximately 30000 students from over 140 countries spread over three campuses; the Greenwich Maritime Campus is part of a world heritage site located on the banks of the River Thames in the south east of London approximately 15 minutes from Central London.

The Avery Hill Campus is located in the district of Eltham London and the Medway Campus located in Chatham Maritime Kent which can boast of one of the largest libraries in the whole of Europe. Each campus is housed in historic buildings and equipped with modern teaching facilities, libraries, computer rooms and laboratories. The university has an academic staff of over 1600 members who share their expertise in providing the students with invaluable knowledge.

The University of Greenwich ranked with the highest student satisfaction rate in London is within the top 20 UK universities for Graduate starting salaries as quoted by the Sunday Times league. It is also rated among the top ten Consultancy Universities for Business and Industry in UK.

The university undertakes a wide range of research and the achievements of our researchers have been recognized with three prestigious Queens Anniversary Awards for Higher Education. One Sri Lankan student Miss Rajitha Hanarasinghe who completed her Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Greenwich is currently reading for her PHD studies under a full scholarship programme offered by the University of Greenwich. This scholarship was granted following her high performance in her Master's examination.

The University of Greenwich is ranked as the highest recruiter of Sri Lankan students and this is largely due to the reputation the university has achieved for excellence in teaching, distinctive subject range and a variety of dynamic and innovative programmes it offers every year in different disciplines of studies.

NEW PROGRAMMES
Some of the new and modified programmes of studies offered by the university this year are as follows:
MSc Pharmaceutical Biotechnology
