The largest CIM Institute advises on Stage 3 syllabus

Next Business School, the largest CIM accredited study Centre in Sri Lanka, with a record number of students over 500 in three consecutive intakes, is now offering a chance to complete CIM Stage 3 in the old syllabus under an expert panel of lectures.

CIM-UK which is the largest marketing body in the world, has now replaced the current CIM stage 3 (Postgraduate Diploma) with the new Chartered Postgraduate Diploma Level which consists of two phases, similar to the current Postgraduate Diploma. Therefore, this would be the last chance for students who had registered under the old syllabus, to complete stage 3 under direct guidance from the expert panel of lectures at Next School of Business.

In the new Syllabus, the assessment criteria will be changed, which will be mainly assignment and work based projects, except one subject. Under the new qualification, phase one will comprise of Emerging Themes, Analysis and Decision, Marketing Leadership and Planning and Managing Corporate Reputation.

Now students have the option of completing Phase 2 to achieve Chartered Marketer status by completing a work based research project .This Phase will take between 12-18 months to complete.
The Phase 1 and Phase 2 together is now called the Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. However level 2 is optional for students.

The Chartered Postgraduate Diploma at Next will be delivered by a lecture panel whose credentials are unmatched. They are of CIM-UK Chartered Marketers, MBA qualified and trained by CIM in UK, possess 10 years of lecturing experience in CIM and above all, they are practising marketers. As the current assessment structure of CIM places significant emphasis on practical application of theory in various real life corporate situations, students gain a distinctive advantage when they learn from industry practitioners. In addition to the expert panel, students are provided with a comprehensive assignment guideline along with a full time student counsellor for further support and guidance.
