D.S. Senanayake College Colombo 07 has laid the foundation stone for the expansion and renovation of the R.I.T. Alles Hall on the 23rd June 2010. The foundation stone was laid by the present principal Dr. Asoka Senani Hewage. This hall which was constructed in 1985 is the biggest hall among the Sri Lanka schools.

This new expansion project will be founded by OBA and parents with the assistance for construction by the Architects and engineers attached to the OBA and SDS. This major expansion project is expected to cost over 100 million and will be completed by December 2010.

This hall after completion can accommodate upto 3000 people. This ultra modern hall will be a great asset to the school and to the public to conduct many events says the secretary to SDS Mr. Anil Karunaratne.
