American Center in its weekly film screening shows some of the latest Hollywood blockbuster cinematic creation to Sri Lankan filmgoer.
Under this theme ‘Sherlock Holmes’ , a 2009 action mystery film based on the character of the same name created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle will be screened at 6 pm on October 12 at the American Center, Galle Road, Colombo 3.
Directed by Guy Ritchie the film was also nominated for two Academy Awards, Best Original Score and Best Art Direction. Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law portray Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, respectively. Holmes investigates a series of murders, apparently connected to occult rituals. |
